We were very grateful this week to be welcomed into Rectory Farm near Newark for our first staff display jump of the season.
Display skydives, also known as ‘demos’, are jumps into a new site outside of our usual landing area. In this case, we jumped into this local farm which also has a grass runway – meaning our skydivers and our planes were able to land and enjoy tea and biscuits before heading home again.
Thank you to our hosts for welcoming us!
It was a lot of fun for us to jump over a new place, offering new views and a fun new landing area to try. The participants on this particular demo were all Skydive Langar staff and the evening was a fun way for us to spend time together as a busy summer season gets started.
You can book our skydiving display team for your event or if you don’t have an event but have a big open piece of land you’d like to invite us to jump in to, please get in touch. Our display jump service includes full scoping out of the area for safety and abides to all required regulations, which we’ll also handle.
Look out for more display jumps coming up over the season and for fun jumpers, we’ll be offering slots to you, too!
