Skydive Langar offers 2 options for first timers and beginners;
Tandem Skydive - if you want to experience the incredible thrill of skydiving, whether for charity or simply for fun, attached to one of our highly experienced instructors.
Accelerated Freefall (AFF) Course - the fastest way to becoming a qualified skydiver, after a full day of ground training you jump from 14,000ft with two instructors to assist and coach you in-air. If you know you want to learn to skydive, this is the course for you.
THE TANDEM SKYDIVE EXPERIENCE
A Tandem skydive allows you to experience the thrill of freefall skydiving with just a brief training session.
You will skydive harnessed to the front of an expert parachuting instructor from 2 miles above the earth.
Enjoy an adrenaline packed freefall reaching terminal velocity at 120mph, followed by approximately 5 minutes flying gently to the ground under the parachute.

OUR HISTORY
As a British Skydiving affiliated centre we operate to the highest safety standards. Our staff have tens of thousands of skydives between them, and decades of experience in the sport. If you want to experience the thrill of Skydiving or learn a new hobby, Skydive Langar is the place to do it!
Langar Airfield was first opened in 1942 as a base for the RAF 207 squadron during WW2. Based out of the historic control tower building, Skydive Langar opened on the site in 1977, and 49 years later is now the busiest civilian skydiving centre in the UK. We complete over 50,000 jumps annually from our fleet of 3 turbine-powered aircraft: 2 Cessna Grand Caravans, and 1 Cessna standard Caravan.
We pride ourselves on being a centre of excellence for skydivers of all levels. From taking thousands of people each year for their first exhilarating tandem experience, training students to achieve their solo skydiving licence, and supporting our thriving sport jumper community with a variety of events for all levels, we aim for everybody to enjoy the sky together while prioritising safety, development, and most of all, fun.
